BRANDING FOR HOLISTIC THERAPIST Claire Whitfield
A custom brand identity for a holistic therapist ready to scale into a luxury, authentic practice
Claire Whitfield is a holistic therapist who built her practice on word-of-mouth alone — but her visuals hadn't caught up to the depth of her work. She came to me needing more than a logo: she needed a strategic rebranding that could carry her from solo practitioner to studio owner, without ever losing the grounded, intimate feeling clients experience in her treatment room. This case study walks through how we built a holistic brand identity rooted in authenticity, warmth, and quiet luxury.
The Brief
Creating an Authentic Therapy Brand for a Growing Practice
Claire's biggest struggle wasn't visibility — it was alignment. Her Instagram, website, and client paperwork all told a different story than the one clients experienced in person. As a therapist offering deeply personal, nervous-system-focused care, she needed branding for therapists who want a luxury aesthetic, without feeling cold, clinical, or trend-driven.
The brief: design something timeless enough to grow with her 10-year vision — including a future studio and retreat space.
Discovery & Strategy
Therapist Brand Identity Coaching: Finding the Story Beneath the Service
Before any visuals were created, we went deep into Claire's brand purpose, mission, and the real transformation she offers clients. Rather than designing around generic "wellness" aesthetics, we built the identity around three core words: Grounded. Intimate. Unhurried. This strategic foundation is what separates custom brand identity work for boutique therapy practices from a templated logo — every visual decision traces back to who Claire is and who she serves.
Visual Identity Design
Holistic Brand Design: Logo, Color & Visual Language
The final identity includes a primary logo, a hand-drawn monogram mark, and a secondary logo system — built around a warm, earthy palette and a serif-meets-script typography pairing that feels editorial rather than "spa-generic." Every element was designed as part of a cohesive therapist logo and brand identity design system that speaks the same visual language, so Claire's brand feels just as considered as her treatments. A strong holistic branding system has to live far beyond a logo file. For Claire, that meant designing a brand asset work that gives therapists the confidence to raise their prices and attract the clients they actually want to serve.
The Result
A Brand That Reflects Her Therapy Style
Claire now has a brand identity that matches the quality of her work — one that can scale from solo practice to studio to retreat without needing a rebrand at every stage. This project is a strong example of naturopathic and holistic therapist branding done with intention: rooted in real strategy, not just aesthetics.
